Returning to Work
When most people feel presentable and ready to return.
Typical timeframes
Most people having a full facelift take around two to three weeks off before returning to a desk-based job, by which time major bruising and swelling have settled. Smaller lifts may need less; combining procedures may need more. Physical or public-facing roles may warrant a little longer.
Planning your time off
Plan for at least two weeks of genuine rest, arrange help at home for the first few days, and avoid booking important events too soon. Residual subtle swelling can persist for weeks, so allow margin before big occasions.
