Mid-Facelift
A lift targeting the cheeks and under-eye region rather than the jawline — who benefits and how it differs from a full lift.
What is mid-facelift?
A mid-facelift focuses on the central face: the cheeks, the area beneath the eyes and the upper nasolabial region. Rather than lifting along the jawline, it elevates the cheek fat pad to restore fullness under the eyes and soften the transition between the lower eyelid and cheek. It is often performed through small incisions, sometimes endoscopically or via the lower eyelid.
Who is it best for?
It suits patients whose main concern is midface flattening and under-eye hollowing rather than jowls or neck laxity. It is frequently combined with lower eyelid surgery or fat transfer. Patients with jowling and neck laxity need a lower facelift instead, or as well.
